Financial Aid – Tuition Assistance
Financial aid is available to students entering PreK-8th grade. The Day School at Baltimore Hebrew understands that becoming a member of our community is a substantial financial investment. Financial aid affirms our commitment to help make The Day School experience available regardless of a family’s economic means as well as enabling us to embrace a diverse community.
Our program’s funding is limited, and while the school cannot guarantee aid, we strive to provide assistance to the widest range of students our funds can afford. In most cases, families that receive financial aid awards will be expected to pay at least 50% of their tuition costs.
We believe that parents have an obligation to pay for the educational expenses of their children to extent they are able. Therefore, every family is expected to have exhausted all financial avenues available to them before a financial aid grants awarded. In addition, both parents are expected to work, to the extent they are able, to support the family’s tuition commitment.
The Day School uses FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment (FGAA) to help determine the need of a family. This process is used by thousands of independent school throughout the country.
