In the lower school, physical education is a time for children to enjoy physical activity and to play through a variety of activities including movement, fitness, tumbling, sports and games. Active participation is highly encouraged while the development of the body, mind and social interaction is of primary importance to the program. Students continue throughout the years to build both gross and fine motor skills through instruction and practice. Classes are held twice a week both indoors and outdoors. PE Maxed Out (so named by the students) is additional fun and skills held after school for those who choose to join.
